| Meet Baby. Baby was found running down a highway with a piece of bread in her mouth. After an extensive search for her owners, she was placed in Coast To Coast Dachshund Rescue. Her age is estimated to be "older than dirt". After hearing her story, and as the Rescue individuals know, I love the Senior Dachshunds. So She came to live with us! She is the perfect addition to our home and hearts. | Meet Brandy. Brandy was an owner surrender. The owners had two babies and because both parents had to work, the mother in law refused to take care of the babies if Brandy stayed. Because of monetary reasons and needing the MIL to help take care of the babies, she was surrendered to Rescue. Their loss is our fortune gained! She is completely housetrained, and is probably one of the best Dachshunds around. Although NOT a senior (she is only 7 years old) we agreed to foster her until new owners could be found! |

| Meet Josephine - the girl that started it all! Josephine passed away June 2004, but she was our pride and joy! She was given away as a baby as the breeders found no one wanted her. That didn't hurt my feelings as she became just about my everything! She started my passion in showing dogs although she herself was no show dog. She also started our line of Dachshund clothing since we couldn't find anything to fit her!. She became our model. Josephine died in 2004 at the ripe old age of 14 and at that time I vowed that the only Dachshunds who we would have would be unwanted Senior Dachshunds. If you haven't considered a Senior Dachshund, then you don't know what you are missing!!! |
